Polyphenyloxyphosphazene (PPP) was synthesized by ring opening polymerization of Hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene. The structure and properties of PPP were characterized by NMR (31P, 1H, 13C), FT-IR and TGA. The pyrolysis mechanism of PPP was studied by pyrolysis gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The results showed that PPP had good heat resistance, In the high temperature stage, there are different thermal decomposition modes.
